From my studio to your home

I’m Kim, a ceramicist based in Adelaide, South Australia.

I make small-batch, wheel-thrown ceramic homewares from my home studio, alongside my work as a graphic designer.

I came to clay as a way to step away from the screen and reconnect with something more tactile. What started as a creative outlet quickly became something I couldn’t get enough of - every spare moment spent learning, practicing, and refining.

Now, working with clay has become a steady rhythm and I’m drawn to the way it asks for my full attention, offering a kind of quiet and focus I don’t find elsewhere.

I think the designer in me is always chasing improvement through practice, drawn to the technical challenges this craft brings.

I love connecting with people through my work and knowing my pieces will become part of their everyday.
